It’s Everyone’s favorite time of the year!
The season that brings laughter, joy, and cheer!
We gather around the tree on Christmas Eve,
To behold stories, jokes, and memories with our family.
Smiles will never fade that very special night;
Like the shining star above Bethlehem symbolizing
Our beloved Jesus Christ!
It’s a time we share,
A time to love.
A day on the calendar that makes us smile at the thought!
Cookies, hot chocolate, and peppermint sticks,
The grandest combination of sugar there ever has been!
Kids all nestled up in their bed.
Can’t close their eyes and go to sleep because
They are too excited for Old Saint Nick to arrive!
But let’s not get off track here.
The real reason why we celebrate Christmas is near!
Yes, elves and Santa are quite cute, but
I behold to you a newborn baby filled with love and gratitude!
Some call him Emmanuel or High Exulted One,
But that mystical, whimsical night,
God’s son was born to be this world’s light!
Let us never forget his name-
The King of Kings-
Our one and only Savior, Jesus Christ!
